Terms of service

Ordering

All orders are subject to availability. By placing an order through my website, you agree to these terms and conditions.

  • Postal bakes (Order Now): Set Boxes consist of 4 pre chosen bakes. These can be changed or altered. Orders are baked fresh and dispatched on the next available shipping day
  • Custom Bakes: Require a minimum of 2 weeks notice and a non refundable 50% deposit
  • Dessert tables: Require booking with as much notice as possible and require a non refundable 50% deposit

Postal Bakes 

Postal bakes are released in limited weekly drops every Friday — once they are gone, it's gone until the next drop. They will be marked as "Only a few left" or "Sold out" so you know where you stand. Shipping is calculated at checkout.

Payment

Payment terms will vary depending on the order type:

  • Standard orders: Full payment required upon confirmation
  • Dessert Table Orders: A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your date, with the balance due before the event
  • Wholesale orders: Payment terms agreed individually

Cancellations & Changes 

I understand plans can change. Please notify me as soon as possible if you need to cancel or modify your order so I can help where possible. 

  • Cancellations with more than 7 days notice: Full refund (excluding deposits where applicable)
  • Cancellations with less than 7 days notice: Partial or no refund may apply depending on ingredients purchased
  • Dessert Table deposits are non-refundable

Refund Policy

Because everything is baked fresh, perishable and made to order, I'm unable to offer refunds on completed orders — including for items that arrive damaged in transit or where you've changed your mind. I really appreciate your understanding on this; it's the only way a small home bakery like mine can keep running.

  • Perishable items: No refunds or replacements on baked goods once they have been dispatched or collected
  • Local collection: My bakes are made fresh and won't keep indefinitely. If a local collection order isn't picked up within 48 hours of my ready-for-collection email, I'll need to dispose of it for food-safety reasons. Unfortunately I won't be able to offer a refund in these cases — I hope you understand.
  • Damaged in transit: Postal bakes travel at your own risk. I package everything carefully but cannot refund or replace items damaged by the courier
  • Change of mind: Refunds cannot be offered once an order has been confirmed and baking has started
  • Cancellations before baking begins: If you contact me before I've started your order I'll do my best to offer a full or partial refund
  • Dessert Table orders: The non-refundable deposit secures your date. The remaining balance is refundable if cancelled more than 2 months before the event. Cancellations within 2 months are non-refundable

If something has genuinely gone wrong with your order, please do still get in touch within 24 hours — Mistakes can happen and I want to know so that I can rectify where possible within reason. 

Collection & Delivery 

  • Collection: Available from Stockport
  • Local delivery: I currently don't offer local delivery I expect for events, weddings and corporate events) Free within 5 miles of Stockport- delivery charges will apply out of this radius 
  • Nationwide Delivery: Selected bakes (traybakes, cookies and other postal-friendly items) can be shipped nationwide via 24-hour tracked delivery for a £5 flat rate. Unfortunately I can not ship cheesecakes due to the fresh dairy products used. 
  • Wedding cakes & dessert tables: Delivery and setup services are available within a reasonable distance- fees may apply depending on the package selected

Please note that cakes and cupcakes are available local collection only due to their delicate nature. I cannot be held responsible for damage to items during postal transit once they have been handed over to the courier.

Allergen Information 

Unfortunately I can't cater for various dietary requirements including gluten-free. Please note that all bakes are prepared in my home kitchen where common allergens (including nuts, gluten, dairy, and eggs) are handled. While I take precautions, I cannot guarantee complete absence of allergens or prevent cross-contamination. If you have severe allergies, please discuss your requirements with me before ordering.

Limitation of Liability 

Lulabelle Bakes takes every care to ensure products are made to the highest standards. However, I cannot be held liable for any adverse reactions or issues arising from consumption, particularly regarding allergens where you have been advised of potential cross-contamination risks.

All images on this website are of my own work unless otherwise stated. Custom orders are made to order and while I strive to recreate designs as closely as possible, slight variations may occur due to the handmade nature of my bakes, please be aware of this if especially using AI to create inspiration photos.
